3rdTech Announces 3D Scanning Services

CHAPEL HILL, N.C., November 20, 2003 – 3rdTech announced today new 3D scanning services with its DeltaSphere-3000 3D Scene Digitizer. The DeltaSphere-3000 is particularly well suited for scanning "room-sized spaces and car-sized objects" for video games, film and video, crime scene capture and analysis, modeling for simulation and training, building renovation and industrial plant design - among many other applications. The new services include optional, full color capture for producing high-quality, photo-realistic models. 3rdTech recently announced the ability to combine high-resolution digital photographs as texture maps with scanned geometry producing models that are mistaken for actual video.
